
Winnipeg police are investigating after a man was seriously injured in a stabbing outside a Main Street hotel early this morning.
Police officers responded to the area of the National Hotel (formerly called the Manwin) just after 4:00 a.m., for a report of an injured male. Police say the victim showed up at the nearby Main Street Project after being stabbed.

The man was transported to hospital in critical condition, where he remains.
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
