Manitoba RCMP charge man with first-degree murder in death of Bobbie Lynn Moose

Manitoba RCMP have charged Jack Clarence Flett with first-degree murder in the death of Bobbie Lynn Moose of Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation.

Flett, 52, was arrested in Thompson, Man. on July 28 and made his first court appearance.

Moose, 29, was dropped off by her sister at the Wal-Mart on Mystery Lake Road in Thompson on October 1, 2019. Her body was found near Nelson Road in Thompson on October 17, 2019.

Police say Flett and Moose were known to each other.

Flett was transported to Winnipeg on July 31, where he will continue to be held in custody.
